I've never written an email like this about a product, but I just needed to say thank you, Weruva.
I have an 18-year-old picky kitty with multiple food allergies, and with her recent health issues, she has also not been eating well. She lost weight and was becoming more sick with liver issues from not eating well. I tried many products and struggled to find food that had great ingredients and wasn't highly processed. I spent a lot of time and money trying to figure out her food situation.
She had lost almost 2 lbs in 6 months, dropping from 10.2 to 8.35 lbs. She's a larger female kitty, so she should be around 10-11 lbs. She also showed significant muscle atrophy in her hips and lumbar spine.
She has the oddest allergies. Rice, corn, spinach, tomato, carrots, and alfalfa are all found in many pet foods. I tried so many products until, one day, I tried a pouch of Weruva Stew!, and she loved it! She's not allergic to any ingredients in the flavors you offered in the Stew! line, so I can rotate flavors so she doesn't get bored.
She is now eating regularly, has gained weight, and is starting to gain muscle tone! She is back up to 11 lbs, and her liver values continue to improve! Of course, she's on a few medications and supplements, but I contribute a lot of her health turnaround to her new consistent diet.
Watching my little old lady be so happy and eating makes my heart so happy. Weruva foods are worth every penny!
I just wanted to send this email to express my gratitude for your pet food. In my opinion, this product is great for senior kitties, especially those with health issues or who can no longer undergo anesthetic procedures like my girl.
