Feeding Guidelines

Feed your adult cat 1-3 cups per 4-8 lbs of body weight per day. Feed kittens up to twice the adult amount. For pregnant or nursing adult cats, we recommend free choice feeding. Pregnant cats may need 50% more food. Nursing cats may need up to three times these amounts. Adjust amounts accordingly and always provide fresh clean water. Refrigerate any unused portions.

Transitioning

Despite how much your feline friends ask for Weruva's high-quality foods, it's best to transition them gradually over a week. Start by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current diet and slowly increase the amount over 7 days. This will help your cat adjust comfortably to the change.

It's not the product itself, but how the package arrived: in very poor condition! Cuts, tears, dents all over the paper packaging. It's obvious that whoever shipped it did not handle it carefully. It's a small miracle that none of the products arrived damaged.

It's been out of stock for months now. What is this about Weruva?

Good, when in stock

Interesting that my first review was taken down. Ever since Cat Person sold to Weruva, there have been supply issues. They are regularly out of stock of multiple items/flavors. Im going on month 2 of not getting my auto-replenish order. Also, not to mention the bones found in the fish. When I emailed a picture with my concerns I was basically told, “that’s fine, your cat can easily digest that.” My vet said otherwise. If these issues don’t get cleared up soon I’m going to cancel my subscription.

Gold when in stock

This is the only wet food my senior, insulin dependent kitty will eat. I’m stalking the website to see when it’s back in stock and trying every other “tuna shreds” type food I can find to hold him over but I’ve had zero luck! This stuff is gold. Please make more!!

The product is awesomw. However the condition of the product when it arrives can be improved. The shipping boxes are often crushed, which leads to the packaging inside to be damged. Still able to use product so far but could be a problem in future orders

Our five year old cat absolutely loves this product. We have tried several other brands of wet food and she didn't like any of them. So this is the only thing she will eat now and if we let her, she would eat it constantly!

Lovely, fresh fish, every time. With all of the liquid and oils and additional nutrients cats need. Really easy to serve especially with the little spoons. My cats absolutely love it, so much so that we're kind of stepping away from kibble. They have kibble to snack on throughout the day, but their primary meals have been cat person shreds. It's nice having a label that says tuna or salmon it and have it actually be just those things. One of my cats is allergic to chicken and fowl products, so aside from buying human grade fish this is the best option I've come across in 39 years.
